The city center is a merry network of events with the Academiehuis, Zwolle's largest national monument, as its beating heart. Here you will find, among other things, the interactive experience Panorama Hanze, which spectacularly connects past, present and future. Climb to the attic of the more than 600-year-old building and before you know it you are standing eye to eye with the symbol of the city: guardian angel Michael. And continue your Hanseatic exploration past the Peperbus, Museum ANNO, the Sassenpoort and the Schepenzaal. You never saw Zwolle like this before.

In Zwolle, the Drostenhuis (ANNO city museum) has been turned into a coloring page, which residents, visitors, artists or anyone else can color and upload. Then your coloring page is projected on the building. So you color the Hanseatic building yourself. How special is that! Projections can be seen from 22 to 30 December 2023 from 5:00-22:00 pm.

No matter from which direction you approach the city, the Peperbus graces Zwolle's skyline. Therefore, in the Hanseatic year, we tell the story of Zwolle in this special structure. To experience this story, you must first climb 236 steps in the Peperbus. Your effort will be rewarded, because in the middle of the tower is a 360-degree experience with a special animation about Zwolle in the Hanseatic era. In 2023, publisher WBOOKS will publish an atlas about the nine Hanseatic cities, this atlas in the input for the story of the film. Why is Zwolle so different from other Hanseatic cities around us? You'll find out in the Peperbus. Finish your visit with a view over all of Zwolle, enjoy the skyline from the other side and discover: Zwolle from Above. View the Peperbus opening hours here
